Gas prices falling

The Roanoke region has seen prices drop since the peak on June 19th

Some good news at the gas pump in this 10 On Your Side Consumer Watch.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says prices have been dropping for the past 13 days, after peaking at an average of $2.69 nationally back on June 22nd.

As of Sunday, the national average had fallen seven cents from the high to $2.62.

Meanwhile, Virginia's average is down to $2.49, after it started falling from $2.56 on June 23rd.

The Roanoke region's average stands at $2.40, down from our high of $2.53 back on June 19th.
