»  Comments | Post a Comment

The results of a new study finds Ginkgo Biloba does not appear to help protect the minds of seniors, trying to prevent dementia and alzheimer's.

In a first of its kind research study, more than 3,000 people age 75 and older either took 240 milligrams of the herbal supplement or a placebo daily. Each participant had normal cognition or mild cognitive impairment.

The researchers found the supplement did not have any effect on slowing down thinking changes.
