Stopping the spread of H1N1 among voters

Hand sanitizer at polling places, coffee stirrers and pencil erasers being used to touch screens

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Voters will see plenty of hand sanitizer at polling places Tuesday in an effort to stop the spread of the H1N1 virus.

The state board of elections is providing 2 thousand bottles to be placed at polling places throughout Virginia.

Instead of touching those touch screen voting machines with their hands, voters will use objects like coffee stirrers and pencil erasers.

Sick poll workers are being asked to stay home.
