The Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts, in partnership with the local school districts, will begin on site school H1N1 vaccination on Friday, November 6, 2009. It will continue on Tuesday, November 10th and Thursday, November 12th. Future efforts will continue to be based on vaccine availability. .

These clinics are sponsored by the local school districts and the Virginia Department of Health. They are for students that have a completed consent form on file at the school. If your student has already received H1N1 vaccination please work with your child’s school to recover the consent form.
The form of vaccine administered will be determined on site.
The CDC and the Health Department continue to expect that all that desire vaccination will be vaccinated this season. Vaccine is available at various locations including private provider offices.
