Swine Flu vaccine clinic in Martinsville set for Monday, November 9th

Clinic will be held at the National Guard Armory

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has set a swine flu (H1N1) vaccination clinic for Martinsville on Monday, November 9th.

The clinic will be held at the National Guard Armory, located at 315 Commonwealth Boulevard West.

The clinic will operate in three shifts according to the VDH:


  • 9:00 a.m. to noon

  • 1:00-4:00 p.m.

  • 5:00-8:00 p.m.


Each time slot will have vaccine available, according to the VDH.

Workers will focus on giving vaccines to those people who are considered at the highest risk for swine flu: Pregnant women, caregivers for children younger than 6, children, health care workers, emergency services workers (Police, Firefighters, Rescue workers).
