Hitting The Pavement For Organ Donation

Hundreds of people come out Saturday morning to raise awareness about organ donation.

The Point of Honor 5K in downtown Lynchburg. About 250 people were involved. It started at 9:00 a.m. on Jefferson Street in downtown Lynchburg.

Pat Larson of Evington celebrated her birthday Saturday after two successful transplants.

Proceeds will go to LifeNet Health education programs. People could also sign up to become donors. LifeNet also passed out Donate Life stickers.
