Blame the beef.
A statement from the Boy Scouts of Ameraica NCAC says beef samples taken by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) from a camp in Goshen last week, tested positive for E. coli bacteria.
However, the statement from Alan Lambert of the Boy Scouts says the VDH tells them the infected beef may not explain some of the people who got sick.
The Boy Scouts decided to close the camp on Sunday.
