Fire at Roanoke sofa outlet store

Roanoke Fire and EMS crews responded to a fire Sunday night at the Weekend Sofa Outlets on Williamson Road.

A fire breaks out at a local sofa outlet store Sunday night.
Roanoke Fire and EMS responded to a multi-alarm structure fire at 5327 Williamson Road inside the Williamson Road Plaza at 6:10 p.m.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the corner of the strip mall.
35 firefighters entered the Weekend Sofa Outlets and found a fire inside the back storage area.
The fire was contained by 6:33 p.m.
There are no reported injuries and no other stores inside the strip mall were damaged.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
