Roanoke Police make arrest in graffiti case

An arrest has been made in an incident that occurred on August 7, 2008.

An officer was patrolling on bicycle at 9:58 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street when he observed a male spray painting the brick on First Campbell Square. The officer stopped the individual and took him into custody.

Another officer was then called to transport the suspect to the Roanoke Jail.

The suspect was identified as Elvis Jarrett Mullins, age 29 of Salem. Mr. Mullins has been charged with felony property damage.
