A body was found in Madison Heights on Lynch’s Ferry Road Sunday, authorities said.
Authorities discovered the body at 4:50 p.m. after receiving a call, said Lt. Greg Turner of the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office.
Police are waiting on a report from a state medical examiner before releasing the person’s age, sex and cause of death, and before saying whether they suspect foul play.
