Rich Creek increases water & sewer rates

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Some people who live in parts of Giles County will see an increase on their next water and sewer bill.

Last night, the Rich Creek town council approved a 28% increase for customers living outside of the corporate limits.

The hike is part of the 08-09 budget that starts today.

We're told the increase will help pay for repairs and improvements.

Customers have asked for an independent review to determine if the new rate is justified.

The town manager tells us that request is under consideration.
