U.S. Marshals and Roanoke police are looking for a suspect they say shot a man five times.
Authorities say Marcus Eugene Phanelson shot Jason Bond on May 23rd at about 10:00 p.m.
Police say a large crowd gathered at 7th and Madison in Northwest Roanoke that evening and a fight led to gun fire.
Jason Bond was hit by five gunshots.
Even though one grazed his ear and another his chest, none of the shots was fatal.
Authorities believe he may have left the Roanoke area, but they believe he's staying in touch with people here.
