At a press conference Wednesday the democratic candidate laid out his ideas for energy independence, saying he supports government use of fuel efficient cars and offering incentives for public transportation to use fuel efficient vehicles as well. The idea is zero petrol by 2050.
Rasoul says the energy independence effort should be modeled after President Kennedy’s Apollo Project.
Rasoul is challenging republican incumbent Bob Goodlatte.
