A Montgomery County Sheriff's dog helps his partner make a marijuana bust during a traffic stop on Interstate 81.

Investigators tell us Sgt. Tim Shepherd stopped a man driving a 2007 Dodge Charger for speeding in the Highway Safety Corridor of I-81, around 8:24 p.m. on Saturday, July 19th.

Then Montgomery County Sheriff's K-9 Kail alerted his handler, Montgomery County Sheriff's Corporal Jason Milburn, to the vehicle. The alert is a signal that there could be drugs.

The officers then searched the car, and found 2.3 pounds of marijuana in it.

The officers arrested Brandon Anderson, and charged him with Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. The charge is a class 5 felony.
