Radford Police investigate attacks

Radford Police are investigating two separate attacks.

Officers say the first happened around 2:30 a.m. on July 20th, in the 1000 block of Stockton Street. Police found multiple people who were involved in a fight. The victim in the case, needed surgery for his eye. Police are not releasing the names of the people involved as of Tuesday evening, July 22nd.

The second attack case also happened on July 20th. Officers went to the 400 building of Hunters Ridge Apartments around 6:15 a.m. Police found a 21-year-old man unconscious with a head injury, after a fight. EMS crews took the young man to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he is in critical condition. Officers interviewed a suspect at the scene, but are not releasing the suspect's name.
