The Bedford County Sheriff's Office says the logging accident killed 69-year-old Haden Lee Dunbar.

Investigators tell WSLS they believe a skidder rolled 15-16 times down a hill, and Dunbar was not wearing a safety harness.

An OSHA investigator is on the scene.

A man is dead, after a logging accident this morning in Bedford County.

Sheriff's deputies tell us the accident happened in a remote part of the Goose Creek Valley area. That's near Montvale.

Deputies are using ATVs to get to the site to investigate.

The name of the man who died is being withheld until his family is notified.
