I'm curious as to what's happened with Ros Runner after such a short period of time... All of a sudden you don't see him during the week, just on the weekends. I was wondering if you were going to make comments about this sometime...

WSLS-10 Responds: We're giving hometown favorite, Jeff Haneiwich, an opportunity to become the meteorologist of record for our evening newscasts. Ros will move to weekends, which allows him some welcomed time to explore other recent interests and opportunities.

Can You tell me what has happen with Johanna Calfee? Is she no longer with WSLS-10?
No name
No address
WSLS-10 responds: Johanna is no longer with WSLS-10. Weather forecasting in SW Virginia can be very time-consuming and challenging. It's one of the top 4 or 5 most difficult areas in the nation to forecast. Add to that the rigors of studying for a meteorology degree… it all became a little overwhelming. So, Johanna made a quality-of-life decision to spend more time with her family and pursue other interests.
And many viewers shared this sentiment over the departure of Juliet Bickford, who is moving to a station in Norfolk to be closer to her family.

I am an enormous fan of your news and the way you cover it... I wish Juliette Bickford -- she is a ray of sunshine in an exceedingly drab world around here. I wish her Godspeed....
