»  Comments | Post a Comment

Roanoke City Council moves one step closer to filling Alfred Dowe's seat.

At council's Monday afternoon meeting, council members narrowed the list of 21 applicants to four.

The finalists are: Rupert Cutler, Alvin Nash, Earl Reynolds Jr., and Vivian Sanchez-Johnes.

Council will make a final vote in the coming weeks, and have the new member on board by April.

Dowe resigned after being accused of double billing the city and state for travel expenses.
