Better Business Bureau issues warning againt door-to-door magazine sales

»  Comments | Post a Comment

WSLS Ten On Your Side has learned more about the door-to-door magazine sales operation we first warned you about on tuesday.
"Dedicated Turnaround, LLC" is *not* a charity -- even though its salespeople claim proceeds go toward an adult job training program.
So, the money for the magazines are proceeds for the business itself.
Since our story aired, the Better Business Bureau says it has gotten dozens of calls from people saying salespeople are making pitches in their neighborhoods.
The B-B-B says the company plans to stay in the area for two months.
If the sales-people knock on your door, the B-B-B says to be wary that you may be paying hidden costs.
