New gallery at O. Winston Link Museum

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A new art exhibit opened Saturday at the O. Winston Link Museum.
About 68 images from Link's first works of art are in the gallery.
These pictures show his first commercial assignment in Louisiana - anything from shrimp, bee-keeping, and Louisiana State University.
Kimberly Parker is the director at the museum and says these pictures helped Link get started.
"This is where he came from, developing his styles. They're all done during the day but this is certainly where he developed a lot of his talents and his skills," she said.
These pictures will be in the gallery until October.
