Roanoke City Police say a missing teenager has been found safe across the country.
Investigators tell us Social Services workers in Los Angeles have 16-year-old Brittany Lawhorne in custody.
Lawhorne's family reported her missing back on May 2nd. Investigators believe the 16-year-old was last seen with a 40-year-old man at the Travel Centers of America Truck Stop in Botetourt County, back on May 2nd.
There is no information indicating that Miss Lawhorne has been the victim of a crime.
