Long lines and a lot of traffic. That's what voters faced today and tonight in Blacksburg at the St. Michael's Lutheran Church precinct.
Tonight, the line was out the door just like it was earlier today.
V-DOT workers were also on scene directing traffic.
Poll workers say they've seen *at least* 3,000 people walk in and cast their ballot, which is more than they've ever seen for any other election.
Kevara Stanley was the last person who stepped in line to cast his ballot at 6:56 p.m. with only four minutes to spare. "Kind of excited to be a part of history. I'm glad I'm the last one in line. I waited in line a long time to get here so it's a good thing," said Stanley.
After the 7 p.m. cut-off time, about 200-300 people were still inside and in line waiting to vote.
