UNDATED (AP) - Reports say New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress (BUR'-ihs) has been accidentally shot in the leg at a nightclub.
ESPN.com and Fox Sports.com say the wound is not life-threatening. It's not clear at what club the shooting took place.
The Fox Web site says Burress spent the night in the hospital.
The Giants would not confirm the accident to The Associated Press.
Phones calls to Burress' home and agent were not immediately returned.
Burress injured a hamstring two weeks ago against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Giants said yesterday he would not play tomorrow against the Redskins in Washington.
