Original story 8:50 a.m., updated with pictures 12:30 p.m.

Three students and a bus driver of Liberty Christian Academy suffered minor injuries after a wreck Tuesday morning involving a tractor-trailer and an LCA bus.

The wreck happened near the intersection of U.S. 460 and Virginia 24. The bus involved was LCA’s No. 53.

The three students did not require going to the emergency room, said John Patterson, LCA’s director of academy relations. The bus driver was taken to the hospital.

Patterson said he did not yet know the students’ ages.

LCA’s bus No. 60 picked up the rest of the students, who were taken to school.
