Body of man missing in Shenandoah National Park found

A 12-day search for missing outdoorsman Earl Funk ended yesterday when his body was found in the Brown's Cove area of Albemarle County.

Funk, 49, had gone ginseng hunting in Shenandoah National Park. Albemarle police will investigate the cause of death, a park spokeswoman said. Further details were unavailable.
