Roanoke in the national spotlight

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Roanoke is the "Talk Of The Nation" as election day gets closer.
The star city is getting national attention on the airwaves...
Veteran journalist and NPR's "Talk of the Nation" host, Neal Conan broadcast his show live from a studio at WTVF public radio Wednesday.
Conan says Virginia voters are the reason behind his visit here.
Neal Conan says, "This election has got so many people so excited all across the country we really wanted to see some swing states so that's why we were in ohio last week, and well, to our surprise that's why we're here in Virginia this week."
Conan will host a one hour live "listening party" at Virginia Tech after tonight's debate.
His show was the first ever national live broadcast from the WVTF studios.
