Authorities have arrested a man on
suspicion of murder after a shocking scene on a busy highway in
northern California.
They say the man stabbed his estranged wife to death and pushed
her out of his truck onto the highway in front of other motorists
Saturday.
The other drivers stopped to help the woman and one wrote down
the license plate number of the truck, which helped police find the
man Sunday.
The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department says the woman was
killed just weeks after she served her husband with divorce papers
and filed for a restraining order.
