Roanoke Police investigate shootings into two homes

Roanoke City Police say they're looking for whomever shot into two homes over the weekend.

Officers say they got called out to a home in the 1300 block of Essex Avenue, around 6:34 a.m. on Saturday, September 6th. Investigators found bullets had been shot into the home, but no one was hurt.

Officers also say a home in the 1300 block of Moorman Avenue was also shot. The Moorman Ave. home is near the Essex Ave. home, and is a house divided into apartments.

Investigators believe the home on Essex Avenue was the one being targetd by the shooter(s).
