VDOT says Interstate 81 southbound is still partially blocked by a three truck crash and fire, that happened this morning.
Our NBC affiliate WVIR tells us a tractor trailing hauling Vitamin Water, along with two utility trucks, crashed near the Greenville exit in Augusta County around 7:00 a.m.
One truck smashed through a guardrail, and crashed down a hill. The crash closed all southbound lanes of I-81 for most of the morning.
The trucks were on their way to Ohio from Chesapeake, to help with storm cleanup.
As of last check at 4:38 p.m., VDOT says the right southbound lane and right shoulder of I-81 are still closed. Traffic is backed up 6 miles.

VDOT says an accident has closed all Southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Augusta County, about 7 miles north of the Rockbridge County line.
According to our NBC affiliate, WVIR, a truck hauling Vitamin Water caught fire.
