WASHINGTON (AP) - Do you know who holds the winning $144 million Powerball ticket sold last week in southeast Washington?
The new multimillionaire has yet to come forward, but the D.C. Lottery is inviting players to weigh in on who it might be by visiting their Web site.
Questions include whether the winner is a D.C., Maryland or Virginia resident and whether the winner is a group or an individual.
There's no cash for this contest, though. Instead, the winners will get to attend an announcement party once the lottery winner comes forward and receive prizes such as T-shirts and mugs.
The winning ticket has the numbers 1, 6, 48, 52, 56 and the Powerball is 9. The ticket was sold at a Giant Food store on Alabama Avenue.
