»  Comments | Post a Comment

A Montgomey County jury convicted a Christiansburg man with the death of a 14-month-old child on Friday.

Jurors found William Shelton guilty of second degree murder. Montgomery County deputies arrested Shelton back in February of 2008, after receiving a call that Evan Tucker Lytton McFalls was not breathing. The boy later died at the hospital.

Jurors recommended Shelton serve 20 years in prison. He faces a maximum of 40 years.
