13-year-old charged in shooting death of 10-year-old - Feb. 3rd

The Campbell County Sheriff's Office says the victim is 11-year-old Andrew Bryant Lambert. Deputies thought he was 10, but he had a birthday in December.

Lambert and his family moved to the area a couple months ago.

Andrew was enrolled in Brookneal Elementary School.

The Sheriff’s Office says the victim and suspect were not hunting together, but Lambert saw the 13-year-old come out of the woods, so he started tagging along.
