At todays Leadership Conference the Corps of Cadets recognized Virginia Tech football player Dustin Pickle.
Dustin is from Salem and has distinguished himself as a key performer on special teams.
Pickle would salute the Corp after a big play on the football field.
His father and grandfathers all served in the United States Air Force and United States Army.
He received a standing ovation today, and received a framed photograph from the Corps of Cadets.
