FreightCar America Inc. filed notice with the state that it is laying off 120 workers from its facility in Roanoke.
The state posted the layoffs Wednesday evening on its Virginia Workforce Network "Warn Notice Log" website.
WSLS has been receiving calls from workers at FreightCar America in the past month, claiming the layoffs were happening. WSLS tried multiple times to confirm the layoffs, but the company has not returned our calls.
