Even though the sun was shining, about 150 women were sporting pink raincoats in downtown Roanoke Wednesday afternoon.
They were handing out cards inviting people to check out a new upscale consignment shop that opens to the public on Monday, July 6th. The new store is called 2nd Helpings and features an upscale consignment shop, art gallery featuring local artwork and a café. It's located at 1502 Williamson Road (Civic Mall - 2 blocks North of Civic Center)
All of the proceeds from the store go to the Rescue Mission's Medical Clinic.
