U.S. Marshals teamed-up with Virginia State Police to arrest a fugitive murder suspect from Alabama.

State police picked up Edward Morsby III in Washington County.

State Police says Morsby was found in a black pick-up truck heading north on I-81 around 11 a.m. Friday.

Troopers say Morsby was taken into custody without incident, and is being held for capital murder and two drug charges filed in Alabama.

Morsby is accused in the fatal shooting of a Fairfield, Alabama jewelry store clerk. Police found the victim late Thursday afternoon.

Police arrested Morsby's accused accomplice a few hours after the murder.

State police say they found what they believe to be blood stains inside the truck, in which Morsby was riding when they pulled him over.
