An Amherst County family is staying with relatives, after their home burned Saturday afternoon.
The Historic Virginia Chapter of the Red Cross says a trailer on Noel Lane in Gladstone caught fire sometime before 3:30 p.m.
A Red Cross worker met with the family to give them food and clothes.
The is the 30th home fire of 2009 that the Historic Virginia Chapter of the Red Cross says it has responded to.
