The Lexington Fire Department was called to the scene of an accident on Interstate 81 southbound near mile marker 193 around 10 a.m. Sunday.
When crews arrived they found an SUV had gone over the embankment, flipped over and landed about 200 feet from the interstate.
The Fire Department says three people were inside and one person was ejected. One person was taken to the hospital, there is no word on their condition.
