»  Comments | Post a Comment

Two local police officers graduate from the most prestigious police academy an officer can attend.

Salem Police detective Sgt. Joe Mills and Bedford Police Sgt. Todd Foreman just completed the FBI National Academy at Quantico.

The officers took home yellow bricks after completing the academy's grueling 6.2 mile obstacle course called 'The Yellow Brick Road'.

They also earned 18 credit hours from UVA for the academic portion of the academy.

The course lasted 10 weeks.
