Malicious wounding arrest in Amherst County

The Amherst County Sheriff's Office arrested 24-year-old Santiago Munoz of Madison Heights for cutting another man with a knife.

A Madison Heights man is behind bars, charged with malicious wounding.

The Amherst Co. Sheriff's Office arrested 24-year-old Santiago Munoz Saturday for his involvement in a fight at the Thomas Road Trailer Park.

Deputies say Munoz cut another man with a knife, who was treated and released from Lynchburg General Hospital.

Munoz is being held in the Amherst Co. Jail without bond.
