Route 220 crash kills man in Franklin County

State Police say Dominic Matherly was not wearing a seatbelt

State Police tell us they're investigating what caused a crash that killed a man off Route 220 in Franklin County Sunday night.

Sgt. Bob Carpentieri says 55-year-old Dominic Matherly from PEnhook was driving northbound on Rt. 220, when he ran his 1985 Toyota pick-up truck off the right side of the road, and crashed into a tree.

The impact killed Matherly. Investigators say Matherly was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash happened about 1/10th of a mile north of Route 618.

The crash is still under investigation.
