Library cat may be forced to check out

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Pulaski County Humane Society is fighting to help a friendly feline.

"Belle" has been a member of the Dublin library staff for three years now.

It's where she lives, but the library board is considering kicking her out after receiving at least two verbal complaints.

The concerns range from people with allergies to the cat being a possible liability.

The humane society has started a petition to keep "Belle" at the library and already has more than 400 signatures.

The library board is expected to decide "Belle's" fate at the next meeting which will be held on May 26.
