Former Roanoke Councilman Alfred Dowe to enter plea today

A former Roanoke City Councilman has agreed to some type of plea deal, in connection with a double billing investigation.

According to court records, Alfred Dowe is set to have a hearing about the plea deal on Friday, May 22nd.

This past February, a grand jury indicted Dowe on ten charges, related to what investigators believe was a double billing scheme.

The details of the plea deal won't be known until the hearing. 10 On Your Side will be in court on Friday to bring you what happens.
