And in the Commonwealth, the average price for a gallon of gas is up to $2.59.
Finally, if you are sticking around our area, an average price for a gallon of regular is at $2.54.
Experts say it's less likely people will spend their way out of this recession, as drivers will have to spend more of their income at the pump.
