Virginia's candidates for statewide office will cover a lot of miles in their final get-out-the-vote push before Tuesday's election.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell and his ticket mates start Monday's series of campaign rallies near Alexandria and wind up in Virginia Beach, McDonnell's hometown. In between, there are stops in Manassas, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Abingdon and Richmond.
The Democratic ticket, led by Creigh Deeds, starts the day in Roanoke. Following are stops in Charlottesville, Richmond and Alexandria. The candidates are joined on the tour by Gov. Tim Kaine, who also is the Democratic National Committee chairman.
