»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Montgomery County Registrar's office confirms to WSLS that there was a nearly 2,000 vote error in the Montgomery County School Board District D race.

Results sent to the State Board of Elections Tuesday night had Leonard Session defeating Jamie Bond 3,113-2,270.

However, the Registrar's office said Wednesday afternoon that the correct totals are 2,270 for Bond and 1,115 for Session, meaning the incumbent Bond won re-election.

As of 1:57 p.m., the incorrect results are still displayed on the State Board of Elections website.
