Deputies from Amherst County and Campbell County, along with State Police troopers say they've searching for Donald Lee Peters Jr. on a number of outstanding warrants.
Investigators tell us that Peters failed to register as a sex offender, as well as charges of possesion of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
Officers say that Peters' sex offender status is violent in nature, and considered dangerous.
He's listed as 37-years-old, stands 5 ft. 10 in. tall, weighs 170 lbs., has brown hair and hazel eyes.
