The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has their tactical team outside a home on Glade Road in Blacksburg, after the Sheriff's Office received a call about a domestic situation possibly involving a man with a gun.
Lieutenant Brian Wright with the Sheriff's Office tells me that a husband and wife are inside the home. Both appear to be intoxicated, and they believe the man has a gun.
Investigators believe the gun is a BB gun, but are treating the situation as if the gun is a bullet not pellet type weapon.
Officers hope to get both the man and woman out safe.
