The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says it's investigating two home break-ins that happened on Thursday.

One of the break-ins happened at a home in the 1000 block of Mulberry Farm Road, in South Boston. The woman who lives there says someone broke in through a window during the day while she was gone, and stole a jewelry box full of jewelry, and money next to the jewelry box.

The other break-in happened at a home in the 3100 block of Virgie Cole Road in South Boston. The woman who lives there told deputies that while she was gone from the home Thursday afternoon, someone broke out a window, went in, and stole a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Notebook PC bundle.

If you have any information, call the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.
