Police are looking for information in an early morning attempted armed robbery.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. at the Fas-Mart on South Main Street in Danville.
Police say a man walked in with an assault rifle and demanded money from the clerk.
The register was locked, so he ran out before getting any cash.
Luckily no one was hurt.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Danville Crime Stoppers at 434-793-0000.
